Around 10:30 tonight there was a vehicle traveling East bound on Hwy 4 going about 5 mph in the fast lane. A white truck was behind him with his Hazard lights on because cars were screeching to a stop behind him as they were jumping from the fast lane to the slow lane to pass around him. It looked like he was trying to move his way off the freeway to the right but he would keep swerving back to the fast lane. Eventually after a few miles of this he turned his vehicle to the left and stopped halfway on the freeway and halfway on the service lane. The white truck behind him passed as did all the other backed up cars. He got back on the freeway, pulled over to the slow lane and sped down the freeway at speeds around 100 mph yelling out his window at people as he passed them until he passed the white truck that was following him before with the hazard lights on. He jumped in front of the truck slowed down for a second then sped off again. He continued down the bypass and got off at Sand Creek and continued to Brentwood Blvd where he went South Bound.
You can't miss him he's driving a Blue Dodge with a Lic plate of 6EWD874 with a Huge number 3 in the back window.

Yes it was a wagon. Around the 3 there is some stickers of random words.
He put alot of people at risk last night. It's hard to see a traffic jam when only 1 lane ahead is fully stopped and the other is still moving at 60mph. Then you have people jumping from the lane going 5mph to the other lane in front of cars.
sounds like road rage. As for putting alot of people at risk. its not different than the morning daily commuters who dont know how to drive. They dont let people merge and ride eachothers ass all the way down hwy 4. A little tip, give the car in front of you some space and we wouldnt have traffic in the morning or any wrecks.
Anon 4:39, You are absolutely right!
It seems that when I am in LA, although the traffic is horrible, people know how to drive in traffic.
I do hate however, when people weave in and out, and pig their way into my lane, only to weave into the next to gain one car length. This makes me want to ride the ass in front. Perhaps the sign of early road rage syndrome, but it really pisses me off.
Sounds like you were near the a-hole driver for quite some time. You should have called CHP and reported the reckless driver - they usually respond to these kind of calls.
