“Many of the Council Meetings were ending late into the evening – often past 11:00 pm; beginning an hour earlier will allow residents to better participate in the meetings. We have many residents who leave early each morning to commute to work and being at a late City Council Meeting isn’t conducive to that work schedule,” explained City Manager Bryan Montgomery.
Agendas for each meeting are found on the City’s website at www.ci.oakley.ca.us and are also posted at City Hall, the “White House” at 204 Second Street and at the Post Office. Residents may also sign up to have the agendas emailed to them by contacting City Clerk Nancy Ortenblad at ortenblad@ci.oakley.ca.us
The Oakley City Council and Redevelopment Agency Meetings are held on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday’s beginning at 6:30 p.m. at City Hall located at 3231 Main Street.
