With all this rain going on, what is the worst streets when it comes to flooding?
I would have to start with Laurel in Oakley next to the ball fields. Your tires on the ballpark side start to hydroplane while the rest of your car still has traction and it whips you to the right.
Can't we dig a small drainage ditch to the field below?
Next would be Joan Ave in Concord. It was fun when we were kids to hit the puddles on our bikes. But now it's just dangerous at the speeds cars fly down there.
Last would be Port Chicago Hwy in front of the City of Clyde. Get in an accident there and it's possible that no one will no for several hours.

I agree the streets can become dangerous with all the rain....but...the best fun I had with my daughters was in the K-mart parking lot in Concord. There was a HUGE puddle right in the corner of the lot and it made for some terrific splashing...:) Great memories.
Hey, I've been down Joan Avenue recently. Lots of great lemon trees, orange trees!
