The Bay Area is one of the luckiest in the Nation when it comes to sports teams. We have the 49ers, Raiders, Giants, A's, Kings, Sharks, and quite a few semi pro teams to choose from. The 49ers and the Raiders have brought alot of bragging rights in our area when it comes to football in the 80's and 90's. But what happened? Eddie De bartolo departed in 2000 and left control to his sister and the 49ers have been on a steady losing streak ever since. The Raiders even with there big ticket contract deals and aquisitions can't seem to put together a season either. What's it going to take to get these 2 teams back to playoff contention?
Please leave me your thoughts.

My husband is a 49er fan...season ticket holders. I HATE football but I love my husband so I tolerate a couple of games a year.
I'm a 49er fan for as long as I can remember! (31 years!) went to the 49ers vs redskins game wow what a game!! I hope we build on this season next year
49er fan most of my life, but nowadays what we really root for is laundry. Whatever your favorite color is. The teams change players faster than I change my underwear so whats the point really. Players don't care about the teams they play for mostly. Most just in it for the big bucks. A few give back to their communities, but that's the exception.
Super Bowl this year was entertaining, a good competitive game between 2 mediocre teams.
kings rock!
